Rev. Donald E. Sanders is the Pastor and founder of The Good Shepherd Restoration Ministries, Inc. He is well versed in the areas of evangelism, addiction recovery support groups, pastoral counseling and hermonuetics.  He brings ten years of ministerial experience to this ministry.

Rev. Sanders was born in Dothan, Alabama and was raised in Perry, Florida.  His mother, Louise Sanders currently resides in Dothan.  He has four brothers and four sisters. At age 12, Rev. Sanders confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined New Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church in Perry. After graduating from high school, Rev. Sanders joined the United States Army where he served 12 years rising to the position of Recruiting Station Commander in the Army's Recruiting Command.

While residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan as an insurance agent, Rev. Sanders was a member of Messiah Baptist Church in where he was called in the Gospel Ministry at the age of 32 in November 1991 under the pastorate of Dr. Clifton Rhodes Jr. Shortly after, he relocated to Tampa, Florida where he preached his trial sermon on December 12, 1992 under the pastorate of Dr. Zachary Hudson at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Sanders was ordained in the Gospel Ministry on January 19, 1998 at First Baptist Church of College Hill under the pastorate of Rev. Abraham Brown where he served on the pastoral staff as Minister of Christian Education.

Rev. Sanders graduated from the University of South Florida at Tampa with a B.A. degree in Business Communication. Rev. Sanders is a bi-vocational pastor.  To review his professional, career profile, click here.
