Donald E. Sanders is the Managing Director of Strategic Resources Management, LLC. His professional career includes 15 years of managerial and professional experience in employment services management, recruitment consulting, career counseling, project management, building cross-functional teams, and delivering sales training.
He has gained broad experience as a result of working within several industries including the pharmaceutical, financial services, non-profit, and government sectors.
Don has achieved significant accomplishments in his field of expertise while serving in management or consultant roles with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, The Principal Financial Group, Met Life, Eckerd Youth Alternatives and the United States Army.
His areas of expertise include: designing recruitment strategies, employing leading-edge information technology in developing recruitment strategies, conducting executive searches, coaching hiring managers in behavior-based interview models, and designing and employing cultural diversity initiatives. Don is also well versed at presenting proposals and making other presentations before executive committees, boards, senior management teams and public audiences.
Don served in the US Army for 12 years as a Recruiting Station Commander and a Senior Career Counselor. In 1985, he was selected as a member of the US Army's College Recruiting Task Force. This task force was commissioned to redesign the Army's college recruiting program. In 1984, Don was selected as the "Recruiter of the Year", and he earned the Presidential Meritorious Service Medal in 1983 for outstanding service in Europe while serving as a Career Counselor.
Don graduated from the University of South Florida at Tampa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communication, and he also completed graduate studies for certification in Human Resources at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
